47 Milwaukee County, WI (414) 243-1579 If you are looking to have an appliance repaired you'll not find a better group of people than at All City. They are without a doubt the most dependable, honest, and professional company I've ever dealt with! They give you honest information on repair cost versus replacement and their level of effort will be immediately evident from your first phone call. I will NOT work with anyone else for my appliance repair needs and neither should you.
I called and explained that my ignitor was Going and it needed to be replaced. They came and walked in didn't even look at it and said yes the spark ignitor needs to be replaced, that part is around $300.00. I looked at him and said well if it's $300.00 I'm not fixing it, I will just buy a new stove. He said he can adjust the flame so it can catch easier but that I do need to buy a new stove. Well guess what that $300 Part is less then $ 30 and it took less then 20 minutes to replace.
What a joke I will never call them and I should've just looked at the YouTube video to begin with. I have already fixed water heater and car on my own so I am capable but I was being lazy. Well I won't be lazy and trusting again. That was a waste of$60 just to tell me what I already knew and told them on the phone. From my phone call to the appointment everything was professional. They did an excellent job.
Fixed my refrigerator and I have been tracking the kilowatts and they are lower 15/20 Kilowatts on average per day. Mike definitely knows appliances. I would highly recommend using All City Appliance. I have already recommended them to 2 property management people. Seven-year-old washing machine died on a Sunday (naturally). I looked on Next Door and Angie's List and was impressed by the reviews for All City.
I called on Monday, and since there's a coin laundry just a few blocks away, this was not an emergency and I was fine about waiting until he'd be in my area the next day. I was very impressed with the scheduler. Michael, the company owner, came right on time Tuesday, calling first to let me know he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem as a motor bearing and a faulty sensor, and came back the next day with the parts and performed the repair.
I found his service and professional attitude flawless and the repair reasonable and recommend All City Appliance without hesitation. Based on Yelp reviews I decided to call for a quote. Also appealing was that they advertised on their Yelp profile, "request a quote". Not true. I called and they give no over the telephone quotes. False advertisement perhaps? It's a $55 service charge which will be applied to total cost if repairs are done.
The receptionist could have been a bit friendlier. When you're living on an extremely low budget, $55 is huge amount. They were able to come to our home to diagnose the problem, perform a temporary fix, order the new part, and return to repair our refrigerator in just a couple days when other companies were quoting us over 1 week just to come over and diagnose. Friendly technician & dispatcher, prompt service, fair price.
Would use again. Tried to follow the mfg.'s recommendation and use their approved service... they would return my call in two business days to set an appointment and would come from Illinois(?). Called the store where I bought the refrigerator, the company they recommended never called back, so I went to the internet and found All City - lots of reviews and most very high, called, they answered and made an appointment, kept it on time, diagnosed the problem, got the parts and fixed the refrigerator, Brandon was polite, neat, careful and most of all honest.
I couldn't be happier. I know who I'm calling if any of my appliances need help. Oh yeah, and the price was more than reasonable. Our microwave blew a fuse. So, my partner searched Yelp for a repairman and, based upon their five-star average rating, scheduled an appointment with All City Appliance. Michael was pleasant, prepared, and fast. He almost missed me because he arrived about ten minutes after our scheduled two-hour window.
However, that was because his administrative assistant accidentally assumed that my area code - 412 - was mistakenly entered and changed it to 414. Otherwise, he would have called me to let me know that he was running a little behind. I'd definitely use All City Appliance again. I live in Brookfield, WI and called for service on a broken Above-Range Microwave, I was very surprised when I was told All City Appliance no longer services the suburbs outside Milwaukee, even though the Yelp page still states, "Serving Milwaukee and surrounding area" I suggest they make it clear that All City ONLY works in the Milwaukee area and NOT suburbs (Brookfield, Men.
Falls, Sussex, etc). I called All City in a panic this morning when I awoke to a warm fridge. They didn't think they'd be able to get here until tomorrow but within an hour they called back with an opening and soon after Michael was here... an hour later everything was fixed. He also told me what was wrong with my washer(Unfortunately, I need a new washer) and found the serial number for a broken fixture in my fridge so I can order the new piece.
Really great service, quick and honest. I am glad that I saw the review on Yelp and called. Will definitely use All City again and recommend to my friends. My brother and I own a few duplexes and when he asked me to source an appliance repair man I had literally no idea where to look. Naturally I picked Yelp. Brandon came to my brother duplex and had the issue solved in less than a half hour for a great price.
I typically am more of a replace than repair guy and he showed me how wrong I am. Honest and fair. Bottom line. After reading reviews, I decided to call "All City Appliance". Our dryer was tumbling but it was not drying our clothes. He came and even showed me what he was doing and how to do it. Turned out to be an easy fix and didn't charge me any more than the diagnose charge. I appreciated his professionalism and willingness to teach me.
Highly recommended! Thanks! All City answered my call immediately and set up an appointment for first thing the next morning. Michael, the company owner and lead technician, arrived right on time and fixed the issue flawlessly. He answered all our questions, including ones about another appliance he wasn't even there to service. Michael is awesome -- he's a Veteran of the Armed Forces, a highly-skilled technician, and a great guy.
He stands by his work. We stand by him. :) My refrigerator stopped cooling. I called and Mike answered the phone. He was very professional. Apparently he does all the work there so I'm assuming it's a one man show. He showed up in the time 2hr time slot he mentioned. Again he was very professional in appearance and knowledge. Unfortunately he told me that my fridge had a system leak and the repair would be $300 and is not guaranteed to fix the problem and that I would be better off buying new fridge since mine was not a top of the line model anyways.
With repairmen honesty is my #1 concern. I will not hesitate to call All City again. Our dishwasher wasn't working properly, so we called Mike after we read all of the positive reviews on Yelp. He did not disappoint. He fixed the issue in less than 1/2 an hour! He was punctual, friendly, professional and explained to us what the issue was. Mike has been fixing appliances for over 10 years, so he definitely knows what he's doing.
His prices were reasonable, too. On top of that, he gave us a 1 year warranty in case our dishwasher goes out again --- nobody does that anymore! We will definitely recommend him and use again in the future. Thanks, Mike! Called for a dishwasher repair. Prompt response to service request. Very professional. Arrives during scheduled window of time & calls prior to arrival. Michael is a wonderful technician.
Explains as he diagnoses the problem and as he fixes it. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. Exceeded my expectations! When my washer broke this week I originally called Sears, who sold the machine, to schedule a repair visit. It was past warranty but I thought they'd be familiar with it and easy to work with. However, that didn't work out due mainly to their limited scheduling flexibility and poor communication.
I then found All City Appliance and was immediately put at ease when I scheduled the visit. They offer flexible hours that actually are manageable with a job, much more competitive prices, and experienced technicians. Michael, the lead tech, diagnosed the problem quickly after examining several parts of the machinery, explained his process to me in detail, and gave recs for maximizing use of the machine.
Thankfully he had a replacement part on hand since it was a common problem apparently. The whole repair process took about a half hour. I received a phone call when he was en route, which was during the scheduled two hour block, and payment via Square was simple. Very knowledgable, professional, and efficient. One year guarantee doesn't hurt. Would highly recommend this business. Very disappointed with the level of attention paid to problem I am having with my refrigerator.
I explained on the phone and then again in person that my fridge runs for very long periods of time without stopping and much of the time I have to push the doors hard to make sure they are completely closed. No, there is not something in front of the door keeping it from closing, which is what the technician, Michael (who appears to be the owner) suggested. It has been an ongoing issue that I've noticed since I moved into my apartment 2 months ago.
Michael took less than 5 minutes to check the fridge and told me it was fine. He didn't pull it out, tell me what could cause it to run for so long, or offer any type of possible solution/maintenance that could help my 20 year old fridge run better. Since I rent, I plan to personally contact a different company for a second opinion. I have used All City Appliance for at least four years in my home and at the rental properties I own.
Michael has always been fast, reliable and friendly. I have always had same day service that was more than affordable and Michael always does a great job explaining the problem and what it will take to fix it. I won't use anyone else, All City Appliance is the best! I found All City Appliance on Yelp when my washer went down. I made an appointment for the next day and the technician diagnosed and repaired my machine within 30 minutes.
He was very courteous and professional and his industry knowledge was apparent. They also offer a one-year guarantee on the repaired part. I couldn't be more satisfied!
