An appliance is amongst the greatest investments you will ever make. Appliances are often significant purchases, and so are 1 with the primary elements of your home. You depend on appliances for every little thing from cooking to cleaning, and particularly thinking about the level of money you might be placing forth for it, it only makes sense that you d choose to you should definitely make the most wise purchase.
Household appliances can be a term that is used pretty commonly right now but what does it stand for? Home appliances stand to the mechanical and electrical items which can be used at home to the operating of the normal house.
21 525 31st St SArlington, VA 22202 (703) 836-6920 I had gone to First Choice Body as they are a Streamlined Appraisal Repair Service for my insurance, USAA. Several years ago (2009), my Scion Tc had been hit and work was done by a body shop that since closed. I went to First Choice to assess condensation that had built up in my tail light. On the way out, I asked the guys to take a look at my windshield wiper which had been out of place.
They fixed it right there with no ask of labor that some other shops said I would have to pay to fix it. My insurance and First Choice decided to allow for a new gasket and the labor. If this didn't work I would have to consider buying a new lens which USAA would not cover. My insurance agent asked First Choice to call and give me this option ahead of time so I wouldn't pay for labor twice. First Choice followed up, but let me know they would not have charged me twice for labor regardless.
Points there already! Ironically as I was just informed hours earlier of this and ordering the part, my parked car was hit on my street moving it more than a car length. Given the positive vibe, friendliness, and professionalism I had already experienced, taking my car to First Choice for this work (clearly more extensive work!) was an easy choice. Later the afternoon of my crash, Pete, the shop owner, called to see if I was alright and let me know they had received the assignment for my car.
I was thoroughly impressed and truly felt cared about. Across the next several days, the guys at First Choice took apart my car and assessed the damages. Ultimately, the price tag on repair of the damages numbered over $11,000 on my around $12,800 worth of car. While I had not confirmed with my insurance, Pete was honest that it was likely going to be ruled a total loss. It took a few more days to get the USAA adjuster to the shop to review the estimate in its entirety, but all the while Pete kept in touch either via email or phone.
I was VERY sad about the outcome, but many people have a full stress situation with these sorts of things. I was happy to work with such honest, nice guys who kept up with me and answered questions/gave me pointers/ held conversation with me in a very above and beyond manner. While I cannot speak to the body shop work as in the end my car is too far gone to repair, I can attest to this being one of few shops where I felt I was being "shot straight", in the loop day to day, and cared about.
For these reasons, if I have damage in the future (although I hope not!), I would go right back to First Choice. Additionally, I will point friends and family to this post to share my good experience and encourage them to entrust their damaged vehicle to these guys too. Thanks First Choice Body Shop! I have to say that after using this shop 3 times over the last few years for my BMW, I have only good things to say about the First Choice experience and the lasting quality of their work.
Ray and Pete have been great to work with and I recommend this shop to anyone who values attention to detail over getting a car fixed in record time. I read some of the glowing reviews, and all I can say is they simply do not reflect my own experience in any way. The negative reviews tell the real story, and one might suspect some of the glowing positive reviews seem just a little far fetched and are more than a little suspicious.
My loaded 1 month old BMW 335 M Sport was in First Choice for a full month for a repair from a lady in a McDonalds drive in backing into my front bumper before I had even driven it more than 500 miles. Sure, First Choice milked the insurance company for every dime they could get out of them and made about $8500 for the repair, but what is worse is First Choice scratched one of the front fenders while they were working on my car.
Then when I confronted them about the scratched fender, the owner Ray looked at my car and was obviously surprised to see the scratched fender. But then rather than accepting responsibility, he suddenly became very agitated and angry, and then immediately claimed my still nearly brand new car's front fender was already scratched when I brought it in. Of course there was absolutely no other damage to my car then the front bumper, and of course First Choice did not detail any pre-existing fender scratches on their inspection form when I dropped off the car, but none the less, they claimed it was already scratched.
So, First Choice got an adjustment and had the audacity to bill the insurance company for repairing the front fender as well. What a way to run a business, I can't imagine anyone would trust these guys with their BMW. I know my wife and I will never take either of our BMWs to that shop again. Although I gave this shop a 5-star review back in 2013, I'm sorry to say that this shop no longer deserves such high praise.
The quality of their work has not suffered, but it takes them absolutely forever to do even the simplest job. And your insurance company is going to hate you for using them because you will be in your rental car for twice as long as you thought you would. The owners of this shop seriously need to hire some more people and/or move to a larger facility. If you have the patience of a saint and don't need your car for several months then by all means take it to First Choice, but if you're like most people and need your car fixed sooner rather than later, then you should look for another shop.
Took my car here for a free estimate for some minor body damage. The man who helped me was nice and I trusted him. I felt the estimate was a bit high, so my husband got a few more estimates. It wasn't just high, it was MORE THAN DOUBLE what every other body shop quoted my husband. It makes me wonder, how would First Choice have priced the repair if my husband had brought it in, rather than me? Females -- beware.
They just might be taking advantage of you here, to the tune of thousands of dollars. I had a perfect experience here. I could not be happier with the front-end work I had done here. (It was an insurance claim) Ray was conscientious and did a great job. I will take my car back here to repair a ding on my passenger door. Again, I could not be happier with the work from Ray at First Choice. Seriously, not enough raves.
Took my car here for a headlight replacement on a BMW (these headlight assemblies are expensive!), and Ray and his crew took care of my car. I was happy with the result and Ray was willing to work with my schedule as I was unavailable to pick up my car during his normal business hours. It's unfortunate that the insurance adjusters took their time to come and approve all the supplementary work, otherwise they would have been done with my car in probably half the time.
Thanks! I decided to go here after receiving a very inflated quote from the Honda dealership to fix my sideview mirror. Ray was so helpful, ordered the part immediately and completed the fix in under 25 minutes. I was so impressed with the level of service and wouldn't hesitate to bring my car back to them again. In bringing our car to another repair shop, we learned that First Choice Body had incorrectly and dishonestly repaired previous damage, and deceived AllState insurance in charging it as if they had done the proper work.
The improper repair made the car unsafe and would have resulted eventually in further damage. First Choice is a preferred AllState repair shop. I recently bought a new BMW and the day I rolled it off the lot, somebody rear ended me pretty badly on 495. Pretty shitty day in my life. After looking around at online forums and at the recommendation of the dealership, I found that First Choice was the best place to get the damage fixed.
The insurance company gave a superficial estimate of $3000. First Choice found an additional $8000 worth of damage and worked with the insurance company on the supplementals. First Choice has a slightly higher labor rate than was covered by the insurers, but worked with them so they would cover that as well. Ray & Pete kept me up to date on the latest status and returned the vehicle to me probably in better condition than when I received it! I'm very happy with the end result and recommend them highly for any work on your German vehicle.
Unfortunately, finding a good, honest body shop is a kind of "bad news" situation. The fact that you have to go to a body shop means that you were in an accident and possibly someone hit your car. In my case, I went to Giant to get some beers for a Superbowl party during the snowstorm and upon my return I found my 2007 Mini Cooper with the right side caved in. I was in Giant more than ten minutes and wham; someone had hit my car and took off.
Granted it was during the crazy snowstorm and the parking lot had a thick layer of snow but still the hit and run was demoralizing. After extensive web research, I really no clear winner about who was good in the area, but in the end I decided on checking out First Choice. Review websites didn't really have good info on the quality of work and through my research I found that a BMW enthusiast forum recommend Wagonwerks and First Choice.
So I drove down to First Choice with insurance claim in hand and drove into the parking lot and it hit me that the parking lot was full of new BMWs and other luxury cars and I thought I'd be in good hands. I met with the gentleman inside and he was respectful and knowledgeable. He looked at the estimate and said that it was way optimistic and that he would need to a do a supplement and extension for the time to do the job right.
I liked the fact that he wasn't about a quick buck but wanted to make sure my car was fixed correctly. I coordinated a time to bring it in: about two weeks later. So in the end I got my car back and I had to call a couple times throughout the course of the work because there were some delays with my insurance company approving the extra work, but the bottomline is that the car is pristine and it's like the accident never happened.
Good work guys and I would, without reservation, recommend to others! These people are professionals and they do the job right. Honest and the price they quote is the price you pay. I hope not to scrape my bumper again, but if I did, this is my body shop! I have never written a review on yelp until going to first choice. They went above and beyond when fixing the scratches and dent on my Lexus.
Low price too. Thanks guys! Excellent quality repair of the front end/bumper/grille/fender of our Toyota Tacoma. Work was done in a reasonable amount of time and they carefully explained options in working around a previous repair done before we owned the truck. Definitely would use them again. My car was hit by an 18 wheeler and was in very bad shape. These guys made it look as good as new.
They are not fast, but they are perfectionists. If you have a high end vehicle and want the best body work for it, this is your place. We took our recently rear ended car to First Choice, based on a recommendation from a family friend. It was a little out of the way, but we decided to give it a go. I can't tell you how pleased we are with making that decision. We were treated politely from introduction through closure.
The price for the repair was more than fair. They finished the work earlier than was projected. And, even better, the work was impeccable! Our car looked better than it had in years. Fantastic customer service combined with the right price and the best work? How can you go wrong? I was extremely disappointed with First Choice body shop. I was in a relatively serious accident -- my car was rear-ended and pushed into the car in front of me.
First Choice had my car for over a month and did found $14,000 worth of damage that they repaired. Within a week of getting my car back though, my check engine light and tire pressure lights turned on. I took the car to the dealership who identified numerous cracked components and loose fixtures. Within a week of getting my car back from the dealership, the rear tail light--which First Choice had replaced--failed and again had to be entirely replaced by the dealership.
The other reviews here cite the professionalism and honesty of First Choice, but I simply can't trust the work they did on my vehicle based on what the dealership found (and fixed for free) after First Choice had my car for over a month. I have a 1987 BMW 328 IS ragtop and hit a work truck with my drivers side front fender, bumper and hood. It was a $3500 hot mess. It being my baby and a classic - I was very choosy about who was going to do the work.
After much research, I decided on First Choice. They were professional, timely and did high quality work. My in-laws used to own a body shop on the west coast and inspected my car while they were visiting over the holidays. They were very impressed with the craftsmanship! I highly recommend First Choice! I've been taking cars to First Choice since 1997. They are excellent. I've probably had 10 different occasions on which they repaired body damage for me and my wife, and I have been thoroughly satisfied every time (or I wouldn't keep going back).
I cannot recommend them more highly. I recently had my 2008 Porsche Boxter S repaired at First Choice There work is top notch. My vehicle was restored to its original condition. The owner and staff are true professionals and have earned my respect and my business. I strongly recommend First Choice to anyone in need of repairing a high line german car Short of returning the car to the factory this is as good as it gets George S
