We would have never been able to fit everything the way they did. My husband said this was the best money he ever spent. So glad we hiered them! Excellent service. The three gentlemen that helped me with my move today were very careful, quick and efficient.
I would definitely use them again and refer them to others. The price was reasonable; no complaints The only thing these guys did right was show up on time. Other than that...what a terrible experience. If you want to hire movers that you have to baby sit and tell them what to do...these guys are the guys. I had boxes that were marked THIS SIDE UP, yet the mover still flips the box upside down and carries it on his shoulder.
When I told him, hey, don't do that, he says...nah, I would never do such a thing as he has a box upside down on his shoulder! Secondly, they scratched my glass table top because the movers never even wrapped it! A GLASS TOP! NOT WRAPPED! Are you stupid?! Apparently these guys are. Once I noticed the scratch, I confronted them why they didn't wrap it. They had no answers other than "we're just trying to get everything done".
Well don't get everything done but then break all my stuff! After a 15 minute discussion about this...they worked slow as molasses. They started wrapping EVERYTHING in shrink wrap and moving blankets. GEE...why not do that before? See what I mean by these guys can't think on their own? After multiple calls to their office to put in a claim.....nope, no response. Its one excuse after another. "Sorry that person isn't here today.
Let me take your number and they'll call you back. Sorry they must be processing a lot of claims" Yeah...they said the last one. Then she tried to back track just saying that they're busy, but not necessarily processing claims. Do yourself a favor...don't use these guys. If you have a bunch of cheap stuff and you don't care, sure, use them. But if you have nice stuff that you want to protect, don't even think about these guys.
So my 1/2" thick glass table top is going to cost $300 bucks to replace. No thanks to these guys. Also, one guy had a Monster Energy drink and just threw the can in the bush. They also left all the shrink wrap on the grass so I had to be a good community person and throw that crap away. The only reason I took off a star was because the minimum was 3 hours, so we paid $217 for the 1:45 hours they worked, just like we would have had we had 3 hours worth of things to move (We only asked for big items to be moved).
Sam and Mike were great! They were polite and took care of everything for me. Thank you for your efficiency and for putting everything back together in my new place! I wish I had a video of this horrible experience, because it would be a YouTube sensation. No one would believe this was real! The Horrible Russian Guys (HRGs) who showed up didn't even say hello - the first thing they said was, " We cannot do this job! It is too much!" This is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment that is not even fully furnished.
They said it would take at least 10 hours to accomplish (I had a 4-hour estimate). I would have sent them away, but I had to move that day. During the move, the HRGs wanted every drawer in my file cabinet emptied because it was "too heavy", and they insisted that I, a 65-year-old grandmother, empty and pack it while they waited and complained. At the new house, the HRGs announced that the fridge would not fit through the door, so they abandoned it in the living room.
They would not remove the door, nor allow me (grandmother) to use their tools to remove the fridge door myself. Fortunately, I was able to call a friend to bring her tool box to help. Of course, after we took the fridge door off, they complained about being asked to move it into the kitchen! Naturally, the HRGs padded their time at the end and wanted to overcharge. I did manage to work out this issue with their boss.
Why would anyone keep these lazy, unprofessional young men on their payroll is beyond me. Used this moving services about a month ago and they were great! At first I was skeptical as the three movers, Sam, Steve, and Ben, showed up looking pretty skinny, but they proved me wrong. They were fast, efficient, and careful. They carefully wrapped all the furniture with the wraps and tapes they brought with them.
We moved from a one bedroom on the 3rd floor to another one bedroom on the second floor in three hours (including the short drive and a small break). Definitely would use these guys again! I have no idea how they have so many 5 star reviews. I feel so let down by yelp! I went with them after getting multiple quotes because their salesperson, Randy, was the most persistent with follow up and very polite and professional -- he said it was no problem to do multiple stops during my move because I was paying by the hour, right? Yes, as long as it's not crazy far like Corona or something.
*we both chuckled* Morning of my move, two movers show up and the foreman is immediately ruffled that I want to make two stops (to consignment and to goodwill) and immediately tells me NO. Tells me about why it's a problem for him and can't clarify why, if I'm paying by the hour, that he can't do it. So I get on the phone to their office, and he gets on the phone to them too (speaking in Russian) and they both tell me there's a mileage limit and "double drive time" if the original calculated mileage of the move is exceeded.
Huh? Randy didn't tell me this part. I would have canceled it right there if I had another day I could move but i didn't have a choice. Why would they tell me no without finding out first? I eliminated one stop and we go forward with the move. These guys were surly and rude and spoke another language the whole time. Uncomfortable for a woman moving by herself, for sure! No customer service skills at all.
They did get the job done in what felt like a reasonable amount of time with no damage to anything. But I will never use them again and I will inquire next time about who will be doing my move, even if the salesperson is nice. Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with these types of people. They are unprofessional, slow and rude. Be careful about your stuff because they gonna either miss or stole your stuff.
They did damage some of my stuff. Customer service is very impolite and not responsible at all!!! I had a worse experience with expert mover and don't recommend them at all. They should change their name, they don't deserve expert name on their stupid company. 2nd time i use these guys and I must say both experiences were perfect! They moved fast, they came on time and price wasnt bad at all. Def recommend and will continue to use their services when needed.
So complicated to get a quote. Bad phone connection, can't hear clearly, needs so many info yet still can't get a quote. Alex and Roberto were my movers. Fast and efficient! Very professional. They were able to help move out and in within 3 hours. Thank you for the stress-free moving! Great movers fast polite and well organized. Got the job done in half the time as others I recently moved from Randolph to Bridgewater, MA and things could not have gone smoother.
Glenn assessed our home and was very close on his estimate. We had 3 movers, Tom/Luke/Jesse, all of which were extremely polite and professional and did a wonderful job; because of their hard work and expertise, it made our move less stressful and in the end, very satisfying! Walter and his guys did an excellent job with our move. They made sure everyone was packed well and took such great care of our belongings as if it was their own.

.. we had four different stops to be made... picking up things dropping off things picking up new things and then our final destination. All was done without a hitch and in a very timely fashion. We call to get the money and for them to come get the boxes they tell us no we cannot do that ! And get this refuse to give me to a manager ! Also our BRAND NEW COUCHES are all scratched and a lamp completely broken ! Stay away from here ! I would give zero stars if I could just because of their service. I had called last week about their moving services where I was told that the 89$ per hour price on their ad was correct and that there is a 3 hour minimum.
My mother then called to confirm and they repeated the same thing. However, today when she called they changed it to a 4 hour minimum and denied it ever being 3 and would not change it . With the ratings and the ad I thought this was too good to be true. And it was ! They'll try scamming you for more, we will be taking our business elsewhere and definitely letting our friends and family know to never use this company .
If this was due to a new hire , I highly suggest firing them. The movers were nice, friendly and efficient and overall got the job done. BUT they were careless with one item - our TV which had a lot of sentimental value. They lost our TV because they left it in the hallway unattended for quite sometime (they were the last ones to touch our TV after leaving it in the hallway) and in hindsight, not sure why they even moved it to the hallway outside our apartment as it had no affect on moving the other furniture now that I think back.
I personally saw the TV in the hallway but assumed they knew what they were doing. Our community confirmed it was stolen as someone saw the TV get carried across the roof and video tape showed the suspect entering our complex. The TV was stolen due to negligence. I contacted the moving company and this was their response. "To clarify, the 60 cents/lb liability you mentioned is for damaged items. Unfortunately, because your case is a missing item , our company doesn't provide any sort of coverage for missing goods.
We are unable to compensate, replace or repair a missing item." https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move/valuation-insurance clearly states missing or damaged. In the original email they sent me it stated "Damages/Losses/Claims: We always try to avoid damages, but they sometimes occur unfortunately. All Movers include for free some limited protection that refunds at 60 cents per pound for anything completely lost or damaged.
If you want actual insurance, you can buy a moving policy from a 3rd party insurance company at an affordable price. If you have any loss or damage, you must first pay in full for your move and then file a claim form." They have not responded in over 10 days and phone calls just keep getting redirected "we will have her call you back" to no avail. Would AVOID this company as they do not adhere to their own policies or federal regulations.
Great and reliable! A client of mine needed moving svs same day after another moving company failed to show on moving day. I called got a quote and scheduled moving and working the hr they were at my clients door and ready to work no games! And the pricing was reasonable for my client as well.
